Reviews for Garden Beach Seafood
Review highlights
Based on 539 reviewsGarden Beach Seafood in Lumut is praised for its clean environment and fresh seafood offerings, attracting diners with its reasonable pricing and welcoming atmosphere. Patrons frequently highlight the attentive and friendly staff who provide helpful recommendations on selecting and preparing seafood to suit various tastes and budgets. The restaurant's ambiance, complemented by scenic sunset views, enhances the dining experience, especially during dinner hours when seating becomes limited. While overall cleanliness is noted, some feedback suggests improvements could be made around kitchen areas. Facilities such as the surau meet basic needs but lack some conveniences, particularly for female guests. Payment flexibility and complimentary drinking water add to the convenience enjoyed by visitors.
The place is clean—4/5. Impressively, the tables are spotless, with hardly any fly droppings. However, the restaurant could improve by tidying up the area near the kitchen, even though it’s a workspace. The surau is just average but sufficient for prayers. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated ablution space for women. As for the food, it’s decent. Fresh seafood is available for selection, and the quality is good. Price-wise, it’s reasonable, depending on the menu you choose. Parking costs RM4. Remember to take the receipt and present it at the counter for reimbursement.
Got fresh Jenahak, prep with 3 rasa. Worth it. Payment method: Cash, QR, Debit/ Credit card
First time came here, overall the food are nice, especially the tomyam campur got many veges, seafoods and meats inside, environment also very clean and the price wise is really reasonable. And these bunches of food only cost us rm65. Worth for the visit and sure will come again! P/s: here also provided free drinking water
From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles that instantly made us feel welcome. The staff entertained our family with genuine friendliness, helped us choose the best dishes, and even advised us on the right weight of seafood so to cater our budget. They suggested cooking styles that truly brought out the freshness of the ingredients. Most importantly, they never once made us feel looked down upon — we felt respected and valued customers from start to finish. The food took around 45 minutes to prepare, but it was worth every second. The presentation was beautiful, setting the stage for the star of the night — the lobster. Without a doubt, it was the best lobster I’ve ever had. The creamy cheese sauce was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the fresh, juicy lobster meat — clearly not something that had been frozen for ages. The tools provided made it easy to crack open the shell and enjoy every bite. Next came the ikan bakar pari. The sambal was simply outstanding — I honestly wished there was more of it! The asam sauce was a nice, tangy touch, and the garnish of fresh lemon (not limau kasturi!) added the perfect finishing note. Every other dish we ordered was equally tasty — nothing bland, nothing overpowered. Now comes the pricing, its worth the money u pay. Parking is also plentiful, so no stress before or after the meal. The view of sunset dengan laut dengan angin sepoi2 mmg tempat ni padu.. Overall, we will definitely come again. Big thanks to the chef for the amazing food, and special appreciation to the lovely lady who took such good care of us. This is absolutely a must-visit spot for seafood lovers! Nice place. Decent food. Very nice view of the sunset. Will definitely be coming back. For dinner, you need to come early, arrive at 7 pm otherwise there won’t be any tables.
Eat the crab, lala & seafood. I terkejut is the sambal also need to pay. Feel not really fresh for seafood especially with the crab abit powder texture. The environment is nice can see the sunset.
Went to this restaurant in search of good seafood in Lumut area, after surveying in Google map. We ordered Lobster, Flower Crabs, Grilled Seabass and fried Squid. Everything was fresh and tasty. Most importantly, the staff are polite and helpful and smiling. Actually I also wanted to come here after reading about how the owner replied to some rude customers in a very polite and professional manner. I respect that. If going at sunset, I believe the views will be nice too. In Malaysia we don't have many seafood restaurants beside the sea or with a good sea view while having seafood, like in Thailand, but this place is close enough towards that theme. The price is very reasonable and the staff will readily inform you of the current prices when asked. Overall, very satisfied.
